MISSION STATEMENT

1. To promote the use of NewLife Behavior as the core curriculum and to promote additional Bible study through enrollment in Bible correspondence courses in all correctional facilities, work release centers and community work camps within the state of Alabama.

2. To promote unity and communications among all the churches of Christ prison ministry workers throughout the state.  This includes notifying workers at receiving facilities when students are transferred between facilities.  The objective is to help Christian inmates grow and mature spiritually as they move through the prison system.

3. To promote the timely submission of baptisms and other pertinent data for input to the statewide database for tracking Christian inmates within the Alabama Department of Corrections.

4. To promote aftercare through notification and personal contact by local congregations.  To promote CASA Support Groups, halfway houses and other supportive networks.
